The Music Scientist has been my kids' favourite enrichment classes since young. The lessons are super engaging and teachers spent tons of effort customising each class, making amazing props and creating lovely songs to engage the kids. This is a rare genre where music and science meet to spark the interest of young kids. In fact, our kids love the classes so much that we recommended many friends who rave about the lessons too. There is never a boring moment in class, even for adults! The songs are catchy and the kids love playing them at home too. For parents who are still considering an enrichment class to start with, you found the right choice!

It’s a place where you can feel the love and deep understanding they have for kids to be able to deliver such high standards of music and play.

Music Scientist has a wonderful way of teaching. Through music, song, dance and activities our son had so much fun learning about the human anatomy. He also managed to retain the science concepts better. We are eagerly looking forward to what Music Scientist has to offer next

My child has been attending The Music Scientist for about 8 months and I can see vast improvement in both her language and physical development. TMS songs are very catchy which make it easy and fun for my toddler to sing to the tune. TMS is also engaging and puts in a lot of effort for their performance and shows with their creative props! The children are so engrossed and focused with the shows! Another section which I find my child enjoys is their science part where children will get hands on activities every week towards the end of the lesson. This has certainly made the lessons more interesting! Really glad that we joined TMS!

Class is always so much fun. The effort put into the class is 10/10. The class uses theatrics, music and movements to engage the students. Highly recommend!

The music from the classes has infiltrated my home, My elder son (4 yo), is always singing new songs, whether it is in the shower, getting dressed, in the car etc. As a parent, I have to go and learn the correct lyrics and tune so that I can sing with him. He improvises and changes the lyrics so that he can sing different versions of it. His musicality and focus have also improved. He enjoys the class so much as it incorporates movement, props and sensory activities and always looks forward to his music class.

We engaged The Music Scientist as we wanted an enrichment that is fun, engaging and meaningful for the children in our centre. The Music Scientist team truly delivered. They have interesting themes and they were innovative in the use of props, music and movements. Our children look forward to the sessions and parents are also pleased as they receive monthly newsletters with photos and songs that the children learnt. We love the enthusiasm and energy that the team brings in.

We are truly grateful to have such a compassionate music teacher working with our children. Teacher Axel consistently demonstrates remarkable patience and a genuine passion for engaging every child in the class, regardless of their abilities or needs. Even with the occasional distractions—especially from some of our children with special needs—he remains calm and focused on making music a joyful experience for all. He encourages participation in a way that feels natural and pressure-free, always striving to involve every child. It’s truly heartening to see even the quieter or more restless children gradually become more confident and enthusiastic during his sessions. Even the teachers who sit in with the children find themselves enjoying the lessons too! Thank you, Teacher Axel—we are sincerely thankful for the joy you bring into our classroom.

My son absolutely loves his time at The Music Scientist! The teachers are warm, energetic and so engaging. Even after a short break, Ian was thrilled to be back and the teachers noticed it too. Enrolling my son in The Music Science offers numerous benefits that support his overall development. Music enhances his cognitive skills by improving memory, attention, and problem-solving abilities. It also encourages creativity and self-expression, allowing him to explore emotions and develop a deeper appreciation for the arts. I appreciate that the activities are short as kids at this stage has shorter attention span. Thus, he is kept engaged throughout the lesson. Overall, the experience has been enriching and my child emjoys the classes very much, esp sensory play

Meredith loves Teacher Axel & Teacher Liyana classes! At the beginning she was shy and we doubted if she was benefiting, but we gradually saw that our daughter built up more confidence in "public-speaking", opening up to Teacher Axel and improving her vocabulary through fun play & catchy songs in classes. We love that the teachers prepare different themes each month, ensuring that there is a good variety of the topics that the kids are exposed to. Even adults enjoy the class content! Despite the centre being located in Tampines, far from where we live in the North, we are happy to travel 45min-1hr for the class every weekend morning, sometimes both days for make-up class!

Our kids and us always look forward to music scientist classes. Love their songs! They compose their own songs with a new theme every month. The teachers are warm and very friendly. They remember our kids' names since day 1! The 1 hour class is dissected into small and interesting bits. Our kids loved them and were able to stay engaged for the full hour.

We brought our 5 years old preschoolers to TMS for our field trip. The children were engaged in an hour long programme with Teacher Axel and had fun. There were different activities that the children did to learn about the country ‘Australia’. Teacher Axel was clear with his instructions and demonstrations, and was warm and friendly. The children enjoyed the music and movement activities where they played with musical instruments and danced along to the music. We wish we had more time at TMS as it was a unique experience where the children had the opportunity to learn something different from what they encounter in school.

If you are looking for a genuinely passionate place to nurture your child’s initial inner musical interest, please look no further. Teacher Liyana has been very inspirational and motivating; her singing, voice acting, choreography ideas feels straight from kids channel that made my daughter engaged fully in class. Outside class, my daughter sang and dance and reviewed herself as the tune was memorable. I enrolled her when she was 19 months and was shy to involve initially. But Teacher Liyana keeps believing in my child that later she will improve slowly and it’s true.

The curriculum is well tailored to suit the developing needs of the child. For infants, the focus was on motor skills (e.g hitting of drums) and creating a passion for music. For toddlers, they reinforced this passion through gradually introducing musical notes; developing a stronger sense of rhythm and they started incorporating scientific concepts into the themes.

Teacher Axel was very engaging and professional during the music lessons. His expertise with younger children really showed, and the kids enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The liaising process was smooth and hassle-free with Yan Ping and Esther. The Music Scientist has definitely become our go-to, and we look forward to more collaborations in the future!

We engaged The Music Scientist for a parent-child workshop in the centre and it was great! Teacher Nicholas and Teacher Zerwion were engaging and the children were captivated by their enthusiasm. Teacher Nicholas even made an effort to remember all the children's names within the hour. There were a variety of props and materials used during the session which the children really enjoyed.

We really enjoyed the Music Lab class with Teacher Liyana. She is very passionate and professional, and her energy makes the class so lively. The activities were creative, fun, and engaging, and my child participated happily throughout. It's wonderful to see my children learning and enjoying music at the same time!

The activities in the Music and Movement class are well-organized. The children are encouraged to express themselves freely through dance and movement, which helps build their confidence, coordination, and creativity. The session encourages parent participation, creating meaningful moments of bonding between parents and children. Special thanks to Teacher Nicholas for your effort in remembering the children’s names and addressing them personally during the activities. and the wonderful opportunities for the children to explore different musical instruments. We had a wonderful experience with The Music Scientist during our recent programme. The facilitators were very animated, engaging, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their lively presentation style kept the children excited and fully involved throughout the session.
